The strip down of the V12 has now been completed and the carcass is going to be sent away for scrap. Generally speaking all of the part, nut, bolts and anything of use to us all seem to be in pretty good condition. All of the removed items have now been placed into storage ready for when we require them at a later date. Attention has now turned to readying the V8 to place it on to the cradle that the V12 was on so that the Gennerator can be removed ready for sending away. Then the hard work of the V8 engine overhaul can really start....

In addition to this work on the electrical items has continued. More items are being dismantled and cleaned up ready to be rebuilt and then refitted into the electrical cubicle. This is carrying on in the background as the engine has been the priority over the last few months.
