North Wales Coast 2 This add-on for Microsoft Train Simulator adds the Beautiful scenic branch from Llandudno Junction to Blaneau Ffestiniog and through to Trawsfynydd. The branch skirts the Conwy river before heading up through the hills to Blaneau from Betws-y-coed. With challenging gradients this route has been reproduced by Making Tracks for the C15PS and again is set in the 1980's period. Also included in this add-on is the now mothballed route from Gaerwen Junction through to Associated Octel Amlwch Port. Closed to passenger traffic in 1964, this branch remained open to serve Octel and the Port. Stock Included in this pack are Class 40 D200/40122 Activities: There are over 10 new activities included with this add-on, from passenger trains on the Blaneau Branch to tank wagon freights on the Amlwch Branch and even some Railtour ones from the period. Installation: This pack requires that you have our first North Wales Coast add-on installed , it will not work without it. Stock from the 1st add-on is used in conjunction with this pack. The branches in this add-on, add themselves to the main North Wales Coast Line. MSTS BIN Patch YOU WILL NEED to install MSTS BIN patch, it is a unofficial binary upgrade improvement for Train Simulator, this route and stock have been developed on a bin patch set up. This add-on will not work fault free with a normal install of Train Simulator. You will need to download & install 1.7.051922 from downloads section We cannot guarantee that this add-on will work fault free with later versions or earlier versions of BIN patch. More info on the patch is here Two patches are required for the pack itself - click to download Patch#3 & Patch#4 You will need to install the official Microsoft update for Train Simulator before install MSTS Bin Available here Recommended System North Wales Coast route and its stock are highly detailed and to enjoy the full benefit of this add-on and avoid frustration we recommend that this add-on be installed on the following system: Microsoft Train Simulator™, Windows™ 98/ME/2000/XP, 512Mb RAM, 2GB Hard Disk Drive space, 128Mb 3D Video Card, 1.5GHz Processor, DVD-ROM Drive. The add-on will run on lower spec systems but will be less detailed, and we cannot guarantee there will not be problems.
