October 2018
More of the same as reported in September, air system parts after initial shotblasting, and are now in the queue to be painted. Volunteers have repainted the straight air brake after servicing both units. The fire system has been assembled, with new metric parts replacing the missing imperial conduit and has been refitted to the loco. A repair has also been made on one of the cab window frames, with a new piece of hardwood been cut and shaped to replicate the broken original piece. We also have facebook pages too, where we update regular progress - www.facebook.com/d8233 If you are interested in helping out please contact Rob Mason
