We would like to say a massive thank you to CRF UK Ltd for completing the machining and fabrication on D8233s traction motor links and lateral brackets. These items were removed when the loco was converted to ETH generator (ADB968001) in the early 1970s and without them we cannot fix the overhauled traction motors onto the bogies. The society would like to extend it's thanks to Chris Roberts and his team at CRFUK to their hard work in producing these bespoke items.
